Job Title: Property Specialist
Job Description:
Truck Parking Club seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Property Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reaching out to potential property members and successfully guiding them through listing their property on our platform. You will spend much of your time explaining the benefits of listing their underutilized space with Truck Parking Club, answering questions, and evaluating the potential of their property. Your primary objective will be to drive growth by expanding our network of parking locations nationwide.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate New Properties: Assess potential property members and their properties to determine suitability for Truck Parking Club. This includes evaluating property conditions, location, amenities, and other relevant factors.
- Explain Program Details: Explain to potential property members how Truck Parking Club works, its benefits, and the requirements for joining.
- Creating and/or Editing Property Photos and Descriptions: Ensure property photos and descriptions are accurate and visually appealing. Edit photos and write descriptions that reflect each property's key features and amenities.
- Liaise with Other Departments: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new property members.
- Conduct outbound sales calls: this role involves conducting outbound sales calls to connect with potential property owners, presenting Truck Parking Club as a valuable solution for monetizing underutilized space. During these calls, you'll use persuasive techniques to overcome objections and effectively communicate the benefits of listing their property on our platform. To be successful, you'll need to craft compelling messages that resonate with property owners, demonstrating how Truck Parking Club can turn their underutilized spaces into profitable assets while also focusing on our core mission of helping drivers. Your ability to address concerns and highlight the advantages of our program will be key to building interest and converting property prospects into property members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners: establishing trust with our property members is fundamental to this position. Your effectiveness will hinge on your capacity to actively listen, communicate clearly, and promptly resolve any issues or concerns that arise.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics: including but not limited to ticket response times, outbound call volume, talk time, and new properties added.
- Meet or exceed monthly property targets: in this role, your success is directly measured by the number of new properties you add to Truck Parking Club monthly. Meeting or exceeding these monthly property targets is crucial, as it contributes to the overall growth and success of the organization. The more properties you bring on board, the more significant the impact you'll have on our business goals and our ability to serve the needs of truck drivers. This metric is a key performance indicator for this position, guiding your efforts and providing a precise measure of success.
- Administrative Duties: handle all administrative tasks associated with adding new properties, making necessary edits to listings, data entry, and maintaining accurate records in all internal systems.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in property evaluation, real estate, or a related field. Experience in customer service or sales is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to find mutually beneficial agreements.
