Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our computer systems. This is a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently
- Verify and correct data discrepancies or errors
- Maintain and update databases with new information
- Organize and file physical documents as needed
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy of data
- Transcribe information from source documents into electronic format
- Assist with data collection and analysis as required
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using computerized systems and databases
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Basic math skills for data calculations
- Familiarity with clerical procedures and office equipment
