Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, solution-focused individual to join our team as an Entry Level IT Technician. In this role, you will provide installation, technical support and troubleshooting for software and hardware issues.
In this role you’ll:
- Travel throughout the Detroit-Metro and Toledo area to provide on-site installation copiers, printers, fax machines and multifunction devices.
- Download print drivers, set up scan paths and install remote monitoring software.
- Troubleshoot customer’s printing, scanning & software issues
- Install, support and troubleshoot Document Management software
- Use your customer service and strong communication skills to assist customers.
- Record work order details in our automated service dispatch system.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of software & hardware troubleshooting techniques and experience using a ticketing system
- Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows and Mac
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN networks and network protocols
- Previous experience in IT support or help desk role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
