Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Specialist in our Fabrication Shop, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Encompassing all materials in the fabrication and construction of Pressure Vessels and Process Skids - shipping and receiving, inventory management, and manufacturing distribution. You will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing the warehouse space efficiently, and facilitating the timely distribution of materials to support our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
· Receive incoming shipments of PVF materials, shop consumables, process instrumentation, structural material, and engineered equipment, verifying quantities and specifications against Purchase Orders and inspecting for any damages or discrepancies.
· Organize and properly store received materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring easy accessibility for distribution.
· Prepare outgoing shipments of process equipment and materials according to shipping schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
· Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software or manual tracking systems.
· Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and ensure inventory accuracy.
· Implement inventory control strategies to optimize consumable stock levels and as-build material, minimize excess inventory, and prevent stockouts.
· Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient material handling.
· Ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
· Implement labeling and ID systems to streamline material identification and retrieval processes in accordance with the company’s Quality Control Program and ASME Code Requirements.
· Coordinate with production teams to fulfill material requisitions and distribute components to manufacturing areas in a timely manner.
· Prioritize distribution tasks based on production schedules and urgent material requests.
· Collaborate with procurement and production departments to forecast material needs.
· Leverage P&ID’s, Vessel Drawings, Piping Plans, and BOM’s; stage and identify discrepancies in material on-hand prior to distribution.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
· Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
· Familiarity with PVF materials and their handling requirements is highly desirable.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks safely.
· Understanding of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environment.
· Ability to work in dynamic weather conditions.
