Job Summary: As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will be pivotal in implementing effective and innovative treatment plans for children with autism and related disorders. You will be responsible for assessing, developing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a team of professionals. The BCBA will also serve as a liaison, fostering open communication between families, caregivers, and the community.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial and ongoing client assessments and designing individualized treatment plans
- Training caregivers and other team members to implement treatment plans effectively
- Providing supervision to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians
- Monitoring and evaluating client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with families and other professionals to generalize skills in the home and community
- Ensuring that all treatment procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring adherence to ethical standards and compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, child development, or related field
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders
- Experience working with families with special needs children
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- Ability and/or willingness to travel locally, as needed
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Preferred experience working in a family setting
- Medicaid number or qualified to obtain one
